OCHONOGOR CELEBRATES DELTA AT 29. Featured

The Member representing the Ndokwa ethnic nationality on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Dr. Ossai Samuel Ochonogor, has congratulated Deltans on the occasion of the 29th anniversary celebration of the

state creation.

 

Delivering his congratulatory message today in Warri, Dr. Ochonogor said that Deltans have worked peacefully together in unity, since the past 29 years, despite the various ethnic divides in the state, emphasizing that there has been tremendous progress, as all areas of the state are witnessing transformation.

 

Praising the past governments for their efforts at developing the state, he called on residents of Delta state to double their support for the administration of His Excellency, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa.

 

Dr. Ochonogor poured encomiums on the administration of Gov. Okowa which has witnessed His Excellency working round the clock, to ensure that the 25 Local Government Areas in the State each gets a dose of the Stronger Delta mantra.

 

"Gov. Okowa who exemplifies good leadership with high moral standards, has developmentally touched all areas in the State. He has established a precedence in governance, with unmatched records of excellence and accountability. His achievements so far, shall remain unmatched, for a long time to come and is worthy of emulation," he said.

 

Dr. Ochonogor stated further that Governor Okowa's unique way of piloting the affairs of the state has broken the chains of poverty through the job and wealth creation programmes his administration has made available to Deltans.

 

He then urged Deltans to continue to work in unity, in order to promote peace and harmony in all parts of the state.
