The Independent Newspapers Awards is a yearly event that recognizes personalities, businesses and organisations engaged in different fields of endeavour that have made very significant and giant strides in the past year toward nation building, productivity and redefining a new nation of hope and prosperity for a larger segment of the masses.

DESOPADEC, being Delta State's number 1 Interventionist agency, was consequently recognized by the organizers in this regard in terms of her unbroken focus and massive people-based interventions, engagements and deliberate policies of lifting men and women off the poverty line and giving them hope for a brighter future.

Fitting Congratulations indeed to the Diden/Ogieh-Board for this prized laurel to spur them for more impact in the mandate areas.
