Nigeria Police Force Commends DESOPADEC Board, Governor Okowa For Funding Laudable Police Projects. Featured

 
The Commissioner of Police, Delta state Command, Mohammed Mustapha who led other officers of the command in a courtesy visit to the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC ) Head Office in Warri, commended the developmental strides of the SMART Agenda of His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State, The managing Director
/CEO of DESOPADEC, Olorogun Williams Makinde, and all Board members of the Commission for the various laudable Police  projects the Commision has undertaken to build in the State Command of the Nigerian Police Force Asaba,The Administrative office block in Oghara police station,the ongoing Construction of the newly approved Police Secondary School, Oghara, and the Ongoing Renovation of Police Station in Ndokwa.
The Commissioner of Police Mohammed Mustapha , noted that the visit is to specifically thank the Board of  DESOPADEC for their  contribution to the growth and development of the Nigeria Police Command in a way words cannot easily describe. The visiting Police  Commissioner enumerated the successful completion and awaiting  commissioning of the Police Observatory Tower project at the State Police Command Headquarter Asaba the Delta state Capital,the flagging-off of The newly Approved Police Secondary School Oghara, and the Administrative Office building in Oghara police station all through the magnanimous disposition of DESOPADEC under the leadership of Olorogun Williams Makinde, the MD of the Commission.
The Commissioner of Police Mohammed Mustapha also thanked the Host Communities for their warm affection and genuine goodwill towards the Nigeria Police Force, Delta State command. He described the existing relationship between the command and the Host Communities as cordial and convivial. Speaking further on DESOPADEC credible performance in the development of Police infrastructures, the Commissioner of Police said: “what the Makinde led Board is doing is simply awesome, the Police has never had it so good, the Commission as an interventionist agency has proven it’s mettle before the Nigerian Police  and we the officers of the Delta State  Command appreciate the Board for their service to nation building.
The Commisdioner of Police Mohammed Mustapha noted that, judging from what DESOPADEC is doing, the Okowa’s government is truly determined to match his SMART Agenda and prosperity for all Deltans with a commensurate action plan.
The Managing Director /CEO Olorogun Williams Makinde  who was Represented by the Executive Director Finance and Administration the person of Bashorun (High) Chief Askia Ogieh JP, in his response thanked the State Commissioner of Police Mohammed Mustapha  and his team for the Visit to the Commission Head Office for the first time since he resumed office as the Delta State Commissioner of Police. He equally alluded to the fact that, the good works enumerated by the Delta State Police Command  were only possible due to the cooperation of the Board members, who collectively worked with him to achieve the success story that led to the completion of the Observatory Tower at the State Police Headquarter, Asaba.
 
The Executive Director  Finance and Administraion DESOPADEC,Bashorun (High)Chief Askia Ogieh JP Reprssenting the Managing Director /CEO Olorogun Williams Makinde stated further that, the Commission is ready to do more as soon as the allocation coming to State improves. Shedding more light on the resolve of the Okowa Administration to use DESOPADEC to develop the oil producing communities Makinde said: “Gov. Okowa is sincerely concerned with the development of the oil producing areas, he has given us a matching order to do all within our power to deliver the dividends of democracy, God helping us we have done our best to put a smile on the faces of the people particularly the oil bearing and impacted communities.
The DESOPADEC MD/CEO added that Deltans must not forget that he is performing because Gov. Okowa is a listening leader who must be supported now and beyond 2019.
He remarked in his summation that better days are ahead for Deltans.
 
Board members present during the visit are: The executive Director Social Service Development DESOPADEC, Hon.Christopher Ochor Ochor, The Executive Director Projects, DESOPADEC, Mr Philip Gbasin ,.The Director of Finance DESOPADEC, Mr.Louis Ajie, The Head of Press Unit DESOPADEC, Mr Rutherford Adowei ,The Chief Security officer of DESOPADEC, Chief Russel Igbivwie and the Unit Commander of the Nigeria Police Force DESOPADEC, Elder Lucas, The S.A to the Governor on DESOPADEC Matters, Comrade Prosper Edo,and the political Aides of the Board Members were not left out.
