Harvest of Completed Projects Featured

In August 2015 when this present Board of DESOPADEC, chaired by Hon. Godwin Ebosa was sworn in by the Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Managing Director, Chief Makinde pledged that he will not disappoint. He also promised that this Board will be that of Completed Projects. He promised that

they will complete outstanding ongoing projects of the Commission scattered all over the mandate areas of the Commission as well as complete newly started projects.

True to his word, it has really been a harvest of completed projects under his watch. From Ebedei in Ukwani, to Ugbuwangue in Warri, to Ugbenu in Ethiope East, to Ogulagha in Warri South-West, to Umutu in Ukwani, to Egbokodo in Warri South, to Aboh in Ndokwa East, to Afiesere, to Ajuju, to Aviara, the story has been the same – a harvest of completed projects, relevant to the people, with meaning and value to the people.

The Projects cut across the five ethnic nationalities of the oil producing areas of the State, mostly situated in the rural areas, bringing development closer to the people. The Communities and the Traditional Leaders have been carried along in this development strides. Every commissioning of the completed projects have been greeted and celebrated with such fanfare, highlighting the import and importance of the projects to the communities and the people in general.

The following are pictures of some of the completed projects in this order - Walkway Bridge at Shekelewu, Reconstructed Classroom blocks at Egbokodo Primary School, Community Jetty at Ajuju, Construction of the Edion Hall in Okpe, Internal View of the Edion Hall and Construction of Classroom Blocks at Uzere.
